Engaging Students with Podcasts

Many of us enjoy listening to podcasts while driving to work, taking long walks on a bike path, gardening, etc. And we know our students will benefit from listening to them too. Laura King recently highlighted Bob Meyer's work with his Current Events Podcast Routine to engage students in daily writing.

Shannon McClintock Miller recently created choice board lists of podcasts based on student interests and age ranges.

Go to her website The Library Voice to gain easy access to these curated lists of podcasts to use with your students tomorrow to prompt discussions, to engage via writing prompts, and to help them improve their listening skills!
